Welcome to the 2051 Dragoons Cadets Parents Committee FlipGive Team!

We're thrilled to bring back FlipGive, a fantastic tool that makes supporting our cadets easier than ever. With FlipGive, you can effortlessly support our cadets while doing your everyday shopping – no more door-to-door selling of chocolate bars! Plus, it's all done virtually and contactless, ensuring convenience and safety for everyone involved.

Here's how it works:

  • Cash Back on Every Purchase: Every time you shop with popular brands like Home Depot, Walmart, Sport Chek, Indigo, and more, you earn cash back for our committee. From essentials at Loblaws to tech gadgets at Apple, your purchases directly support our cadets.

  • $5 Bonus for Joining: By joining our FlipGive team now, you'll receive a $5 bonus the first time you shop through the platform. It's a win-win – you get rewarded for supporting our cadets!

Fueling Our Mission:
Tracking Our Fundraising Progress

At the heart of our cadet community lies a spirit of generosity and support. Thanks to the dedication of our cadets, parents, and members of the public, we're able to fuel our mission and provide unparalleled opportunities for growth and development.

Every Contribution Matters

From the spare change collected in bottles to the purchases made at our canteen, every donation, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in supporting our cadets' endeavours. Whether it's through direct monetary donations or in-kind contributions, each gesture contributes to the success of our programs and activities.

Join Us in Making a Difference

As we strive towards our fundraising targets, we invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can empower our cadets, foster leadership skills, and create lasting memories. Keep an eye on our fundraising thermometers and celebrate the collective effort that propels our cadet community forward.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication. Together, we're making a difference in the lives of our cadets!

Tracking Our Progress

To celebrate and visualize the impact of your generosity, we've introduced fundraising thermometers to our website (only available on desktop, the thermometers do not appear on the mobile version of the website). These thermometers represent the various sources of funding that sustain our cadet community:

Bottle Money

2023/24 Year Total = $685.40 / $1,500

Your spare change adds up! Watch as the thermometer rises with each contribution, reflecting the support garnered from bottle donations.

As an ongoing fundraiser, we are encouraging cadets to bring bottles on Sports Night (last Thursday of the month) or return bottles and bring in money. Any little bit helps!

Canteen Sales

2023/24 Year Total = $1,300.85 / $1,250

Every snack and beverage purchased at our canteen directly contributes to our fundraising efforts. Track the progress of this thermometer as it fills up with the proceeds from canteen sales.

Don't forget to bring in your spare change every Thursday night to purchase snacks from canteen.

General Donations

2023/24 Year Total = $7,600 / $3,000

Whether it's a one-time gift or a recurring contribution, general donations provide the backbone of our funding. Witness the impact of your generosity as this thermometer climbs towards our fundraising goals.

Shout-out to the following groups:

  • South Alberta Light Horse (SALH) Association donating $2,000!

  • GeoVerra donating $300 to support the replacement of our water cooler!

  • Dave Bergt donating $200!
